Simple and clean with black as base colour complementing with raw tones. There is also a dash of Vintage from their selection of furnitures and displays used.

Product/Packaging
San Pellegrino Limonata
The visual graphic of this drink is refreshing enough for a carbonated lemonade. Like the bright yellow contrasting with the pastel blue. Of particular interest is the tear-off tin foil top which makes it very classy and hygienic as well.

Images of Shanghai (上海之影) III
Interior (of old Shanghai residence)
These personalised mail-boxes are found in one of the old Shanghai residences that I have gone to.
Love the diversity and oddity with different sizes, colours and materials used. Such a far cry from our standardised and rigid mail-boxes.

Rockbund Art Museum
Cai Guo-Qiang : Peasant Da Vincis
The entrance/facade to this inaugural exhibition by Cai Guo Qiang. A very peasant and rustic feel........

SQUARES of ROME exhibition
This exhibition features a lot of photographic work in theme of re-proposing the idea of the square as the space of dialogue and dynamic fulcrum of relations.
However, the conceptual Art on neon-lighted texts on the left interests me most with its eye-catching impact and bland message.
'The Important Things are not Things' is a featured wall message at its top-floor cafe. A philosophical take on Materialism I supposed.........
These two work are real Kitsch!
The left work instills a hilarious take on typical baroque-styled sculpture. It is absurdly sexual and funny!
The metallic lotuses are found at the top-floor cafe as well. A whole row of them 'decorating' the bistro area, kind of going against the fluidity of lotuses that we usually associate with the plants.

Architecture/Interior
Zhougongguan
This is Zhou Enlai's former residence (Zhougongguan) located on Sinan Road. It is a three-storey house with a strong French architectural flavor. The 'running' creepers on the building add on an European touch to its architecture.
Zhouzhuang
Zhouzhuang is an ancient waterside town of Kunshan city, jiangsu province, that lies at the middle between Shanghai and Suzhou. This town is composed of rustic old Qing-style houses amid the river. The elegant study-room interior belonged to the rich Zhang's residence in the olden days.
Restaurants' Interiors
The left interior is that of Xian Qiang Fang at Jiujiang Rd. It is a posh old Shanghai-style restaurant with imperialistic presentation and very good Shanghai food. This table setting is luxurious and reflects the old French influence in the past.
The right interior is that of a chic cafe-restaurant at Taikang Lu, an arts and crafts enclave with lots of cafes, restaurants, art galleries, craft stores, design houses etc. The red acrylic deer-head ornament adds a
contemporary touch to its interior.
